Chitosan-FH02™ promotes skin regeneration

In Chitosan-FH02™ there are only isolated glucosamine units without positive charge. As such, it has the maximum charge density and is simultaneously recognized by lysozymes and skin cells.

For medical use in hospitals and at home, Chitosan-FH02™ is available in dissolved form in diluted acetic acid. After spraying, a chitosan film forms within minutes, as part of the acetic acid evaporates. New skin cells can accumulate and orient themselves on the strongly positively charged film. This promotes the new formation and regeneration of the skin and the formation of scar tissue is minimized. In addition, the film acts as a mechanical barrier and is bacteriostatic and virostatic.
