The use of cookies serves our legitimate interest in making your visit to our website as pleasant as possible and is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Cookies are a standard Internet technology for storing and retrieving login and other usage information for all users of the Medoderm website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Among other things, they enable us to save user settings so that our web pages can be displayed in a format tailored to your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (so-called permanent cookies). You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually on their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally. Cookies can also be deleted afterwards to remove data that web pages have stored on your computer. Disabling cookies may result in some limitations to the functionality of Medoderm’s website.

Deactivating or Removing Cookies (Opt-Out)
Web browsers provide ways to restrict and delete cookies. You can find more information about this on the page of your browser provider.

Use of Google services
We use cookie-based Google programs to make visiting our website attractive and to simplify the use of certain functions for you. Google-services

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Preventing Storage of Cookies
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Objection to Data Collection
If you do not want Google to receive data from your browser when you visit the pages, you will find the link to the opt-out solution for Google Analytics here.

This plug-in prevents the browser from requesting the analytics code so that Google does not receive any data when you visit the site. The plug-in is only available for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Opera. According to Google, the browser blocks the Google Analytics script after installation. For more information on terms of use and privacy, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or click here.
As an alternative to this browser plug-in or for browsers on mobile devices, you can use the following link to the opt-out solution:

Storage period
We have used Google Analytics data retention controls to determine how long data is retained at the user and event levels before it is automatically deleted from Analytics servers. We have chosen a retention period of 26 months.

IP-Anonymization
We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat.anonymizeIp” in order to guarantee an anonymous recording of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the USA.

Demographic Characteristics of Google Analytics
This website uses the function “demographic features” of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and visitor data from third parties. This information cannot be associated with any specific individual. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google Account or generally prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your data as described under “Objection to data collection”.

Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as Google). This service allows website tags to be managed through an interface. Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. Google Tool Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, it remains valid for all tracking tags if they are implemented with the Google Tag Manager. Detailed details can be found in the google.de Privacy Center: Transparency and Choices as well as Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de

E-Mail contact

If you send us enquiries or information by e-mail, your details (e-mail address, content of your e-mail, subject of your e-mail and date/time) including the contact data provided by you there (name, surname, telephone number, address) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis for the collection and processing of data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
The user is informed that e-mails can be read or changed unauthorisedly and unnoticed during transmission. Medoderm uses software to filter unwanted e-mails (spam filters). The spam filter can be used to reject e-mails that have been falsely identified as spam by certain features.
The data entered by you will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Internal data transmission

We transfer your data internally to the administration and human resources department in order to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. A data transfer or disclosure of your data will only take place to the extent necessary in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations.

Existence of automated decision making including profiling

We do without automatic decision making or profiling.

Storage Duration

As a matter of principle, we store your data for as long as is necessary for the provision of our services or insofar as this has been provided for by the European Directive and Regulation Body or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the data controller is subject. In all other cases, we will delete your personal data after the purpose has been fulfilled, with the exception of data that we must continue to store in order to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. due to tax and commercial law retention periods, we are obliged to retain documents such as contracts and invoices for a certain period of time).

Technical Safety

Medoderm uses technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your data administered by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. This site uses SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser for reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as your requests, which you send to us as the site operator. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Legal Basis of the Processing

Art. 6 para.1 lit. a) DSGVO serves us as a legal basis for processing operations for which we have obtained consent for a specific processing purpose.
If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. The same applies to such processing operations which are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries regarding our products or services.
If we are subject to a legal obligation which makes the processing of personal data necessary, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. lit. c DSGVO.
If the processing of personal data is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, the processing is based on Art. 6 (d) DSGVO.
Ultimately, processing operations may be based on Art. 6 para. lit. f DSGVO. Processing operations are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of us or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not predominate.

Revocation of your Consent to Data Processing

Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You have the possibility to revoke your consent at any time. To do this, simply send an informal e-mail to info@medoderm.com and we will contact you as soon as possible. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

External Links

On our website you will find links to the websites of other providers. We hereby point out that we have no influence on the content of the linked websites and the compliance with data protection regulations by their providers.

Changes to our Data Protection Declaration

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection information at any time in the event of changes on our website and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations so that it complies with the legal requirements.
